We need to understand what you do & why you do it. This helps us create story points which we can later incorporate into resume or essays or in the interview prep.

This will help the consultant derive a unique strategy for you & your application. No matter even if you are a reapplicant, we will go through your last application & assess the weaknesses & work on them for this application.

School Selection: Are you not confident about which schools you might want to choose? No matter. Now that we have researched more about you and your dreams & aspirations, we will help you shortlist the best school fitment for you. Researching Schools: Once you are done with the school selection, you need to know each & everything about the school you are applying. What is the favourite sport of the school? We love the Video Essay Section. Video Essays are still a rarity among the B-schools but more & more schools have started with the Video Essays. Here, we follow a process that is followed in the film industry. We work with you to understand your stories & your ideas. Then our team will develop a complete storyboard for you as is done in the movie production industry. This storyboard will act as a director for you. It will direct the shots, the lights, the time & each & every aspect of the video. In the end, you will be surprised to have made a truly phenomenal video that will look more like a professional work than one crafted by just any applicant.

Presentations

Again, like the Video Essays, these too are a rarity but still, some schools do ask for presentation Essay and we are more than equipped to help you create the Presentation-X. STEP 3: CRAFTING AN MBA RESUME – PROFESSIONAL RESUME IS NOT AN MBA RESUME

We have all worked with resumes before in our life. But this resume is not the same as the professional resume we have used before. This is an MBA Resume. It requires to focus on different aspects of your life & a need to highlight the same in a structured manner.

We at Applicant-X are aware of what different B-schools look for in a resume. These requirements vary from school to school & hence we will help you craft the resume keeping in mind the design & content requirement of the selected B-school.

STEP 4: LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION (LOR)

Is your application weak at some or the other data point? For Eg. Low GMAT Score, or Poor GPA.?
Worry not! Letter of recommendation is one such part of the application which helps you to highlight the improvement & the work that you have done to overcome that weakness. This helps create the perception in the mind of the admission officer that you have indeed worked upon & improvised upon your weakness.

Letter of recommendation is one of the most important yet overlooked part of the application. We help you choose the best recommenders, choose the weak points, & provide complete guidance & strategy to your recommender to support your candidature in the best possible manner.

STEP 5: ONLINE APPLICATION REVIEW

The work is not done yet. We know & understand the importance of the online application section. Generally, this is where most of the applicants become careless & submit the online form in a much more callous manner and this is where they err.

We help the applicants understand the seriousness of this section & help the applicants plan & strategize the content for each of the columns of the online form.

STEP 6: INTERNAL REVIEW

This part of the application does not involve the applicant. Once the entire application is ready & both the consultant & the applicant are satisfied with the application, we circulate the application amongst our consultants for feedback on any section of the application.

STEP 7: YOOHOO! YOU HAVE RECEIVED THE MUCH-AWAITED INTERVIEW CALL - INTERVIEW PREPARATION

First of all, congratulate yourself for clearing the first hurdle & getting shortlisted for an Interview Call. Well done! But the job is not yet done. Interviews are a tough nut to crack, especially with some schools going for multiple rounds of interviews.

We have a unique process of interview prep which we call hook & bait (more on this strategy once you choose our service). This process will help you define your interview & have the interviewer ask you questions that you would be comfortable to answer. This question bank will help you recognize the commonly asked questions & the questions that can come up as a surprise for you. We conduct multiple mock interviews (there is no limit, we have once conducted 18 rounds of mock interview for a candidate until she was prepared for her actual interview) with a similar tone (be it a stress interview, or relax interview or even group debates) & atmosphere as is expected in the actual interview. We then conduct a feedback round which is followed by another round of interview and the cycle continues.

STEP 8: HMM, YOU HAVE BEEN WAIT-LISTED. NOW, WHAT TO DO?

Shit happens. Even though you might have put your best foot forward, not always would that result in immediate success. But this is not a time to get dejected but rather to work much harder to improve your chances of converting your wait-list to an admit.
If you have been wait-listed at your dream B-school, we discuss why this might have happened and the next steps to convert that wait-list. These steps like providing certain updates to the admission officers will help increase your chances of converting the wait-list & getting admitted into your dream B-school.

STEP 9: HURRAH, YOU RECEIVED AN OFFER – CHOOSE AMONG FINAL OFFERS – SCHOLARSHIP NEGOTIATION - MORE RESEARCH!

You have received either one or more than one offers. This is not the time to congratulate yourself but make a decision that will change your life in more ways than one.
At this stage of the application, the consultant is familiar with the career goals, history & the aspirations of the applicant. The consultant will help the applicant make an informed choice from among the offers that will best help the applicant reach his/her career goals.
Negotiation is an art & a more subtle art had not yet been defined. Our consultant will help you with the best negotiation strategy that will increase your chances of receiving a scholarship.
